Elena Pantaleoni took over the family estate in 1993 with the aim of creating truthful wines, tied to the area of Piacenza. The unpredictable vineyard produces wines with bold personalities: we have selected the reds, one sparkling.

The Macchiona is a full-bodied red wine of black fruit with wood and leather notes and a long, complex finish. Like the flow of the nearby river, Trebbia, from which it derives its name, Trebbiolo Rosso’s flavours are full of twists and turns. The stainless steel-matured wine has a nose of fresh cherry, berries and mild spices, bursting with vibrant fruits and sweet leathery notes.
