The I Cacciagalli estate is in prime agricultural area near Caserta, in the Campania region. The estate is run by Diana, an agronomist, and Mario, a wine connoisseur. Combining their skills, their passion for the terroir and the topography and climate, they are able to produce wines of exceptional quality. The land’s volcanic soil and mild climate are prime conditions for the grapes to express their identity and that of the terroir.
Full of surprising flavours, the dry white Falanghina Aorivola is a rich wine with an ambiguous palate of stone fruits, honey and straw with a warm finish. The Roccamonfina Mille’s freshness is what makes it stand out. A persistent medium-bodied flavour of bright florals and light herbs follow an intense nose of dark cherries and plums. The Masseria Cacciagalli, welcomes you with a nose of currants, raspberries and blackberries. The mouth is strong and intense with notes of apple and a finish of balsamic vinegar and hints of sweet tobacco.
